👉 Worldometer

You can look at the data countries give on COVID-19 cases and identify where and how the virus is hitting. The data is reliant on the governments in those countries updating records and confirming cases, but it’s a good way of tracking the facts.

👉 NHS statistical work

During this time it’s important to get the facts in a straightforward manner. The National Health System are releasing daily statistics of deaths in each region. The data here is broken down further by hospital or treatment area and age.

👉 Coronavirus — UK data (by People for Research)

We recently conducted research to find out what the UK public think about COVID-19 and how the pandemic is affecting them. There’s data about lifestyle, impact on physical and mental health, economic and employment impact, and more.

If you want to get involved in the next round of the study, you can also sign up to become a person for research.

👉 Public Health England

Public Health England have also released figures on the amount of tests and diagnosed individuals by location.

👉 ONS (People, population and community)

The Office for National Statistics have a weekly bulletin about all things COVID-19.

👉 YouGov (COVID-19 Public Monitor)

Public opinion organisation YouGov are asking people to share their experiences during the pandemic and making its data about coronavirus available to the public.

👉 Google Trends

If you are interested in analysing the global or regional online trends, then Google Trends is the tool for you. All you need to do is target your location and the topic you want to find out more about.
